Daily Banking Architect
You are an IT Architect with a strong background, or a broad and demonstrable interest, in financial services. You combines strategic thinking with hands-on architectural depth to shape the future of Daily Banking landscape, particularly in digital onboarding and account/package opening services.
Description
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Define and Drive the Target Architecture - Establish a clear target architecture and a roadmap for digital onboarding and account opening services (horizon : 12 months) - Design a scalable and modular architecture capable of supporting multi-account opening, single signing moment across use cases.
- Assess and Improve the Current Baseline - Analyse the current IT landscape, and solutions supporting account opening.
- Shape the Roadmap - Identify, describe and evaluate different sound business scenarios to reach the target ambitions (horizon : 9-12 months) in alignment with key stakeholders (Product Area Lead, IT Area Lead, Entreprise Architects) - Propose and evolve a technology roadmap that supports long-term scalability
Criteria
You have a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in architecture roles.
- Extensive architectural experience in digital platforms, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Solid understanding of customer onboarding and account-opening journey
- Strong ability to analyse, assess, and redesign complex IT landscape
- Demonstrated experience in defining target architectures, building roadmaps, and conducting gap analyses.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Knowledge of ArchiMate modelling

- Experience with process orchestration, API-centric architectures, event-driven integration, and microservices.
- You are fluent in English. French &/or Dutch is a big plus
- You are available to be onsite min. 2 days/week. You are preferably already based in Belgium
